So we are finally settled in our new space!
We are still only about 10 minutes from Cornwall, but now we have lots of room to move around, to photograph large groups and eventually to create some really great outdoor images right here at the studio.
Just give me a shout if you d like to schedule and appointment, or even if you’d just like the tour!
Enjoy!
So obviously there’s still lots of work to be done outside- but everything inside is all finished up and nice and cozy! The Raisin River runs behind those trees behind the house.
This is the view from the front entrance. In the right corner there you can see my office- but at last I have a door so I can close off the mess!
Looking back towards the front door. I’m completely in love with this fireplace and I’m planning on using it for Christmas portraits this fall.
These are our restored antique doors. We figure that they are at least 100 years old and now that all 7 layers of paint have been striped away they are gorgeous and make for a great backdrop!
Our bathroom and change table.
The shooting space is a great size with wonderful high ceillings! I have tons of room for the backdrops I’ve been keeping in storage for the last little bit, and I can easily photograph large groups now!
The light in the shot is all coming from my fantastic 9 foot window which is great for natural light images!
The other view of the shooting space- and the storage room- all of my props and chairs have a home finally!
Thanks for looking and if you missed it- here’s a link to the last set of images!
